HALO is a ceiling-mounted laboratory-grade air filtration system designed to purify the air from fugitive emissions present in the lab. It provides real-time communication with the lab manager and users about air pollution levels and 24/7 data. The Halo effectively cleans 250-300 sq. ft. of space, eliminating the need for HVAC connections or upgrades. Each Halo operates as an independent system, capturing polluted laboratory air, trapping harmful molecules, and circulating clean, purified air back into the laboratory. It comes equipped with Erlab’s state-of-the-art filters, including options for VOC capture, Chemplus for a broad range of chemicals (solvents, acids, and bases), or Formaldehyde capture.

In addition to purifying lab air, the Halo reduces air exchange rates per hour (ACH) required to lower pollutant concentrations.

On the job 24/7

Halo continuously draws dirty air from the lab through its filter, adsorbing noxious odors and returning clean air through low-disruptive side vents. The laboratory-grade molecular filtration system contains Neutrodine, a powerful activated carbon mixture combined with a pre-filter that captures a wide variety of airborne fumes and odors, which could otherwise pose health hazards.

Simple to install

Halo is easily installed in the ceiling without requiring an HVAC connection. Multiple units can be installed to expand coverage. Installation is comparable to installing lights in a drop ceiling.

Smart technology

Smart Technology™ features include Smart-Light Communication™, where a soft band of light assures lab occupants that the air is clean. When the LED lights pulse, HALO signals that it is sensing and capturing emissions. Users can check the status, adjust settings, or perform maintenance via a smartphone, tablet, or PC.
