LabAlert is a cost-effective, wireless monitoring system operating on the 802.15.4 ZigBee® standard for storing and communicating temperature and door status information, among other features. Sensors transmit data wirelessly to a gateway node. The gateway node temporarily stores and processes all of the data from the sensor units and relays the received data over Ethernet to the cloud software, allowing for an easy creation of a centrally managed monitoring application.
