Accucold's Med-Lab Performance Series all-refrigerators are designed and purpose-built to meet the demanding needs of life science, laboratory, and medical cold storage applications.

The ARG12MLDR is a 12 cu.ft. all-refrigerator with an adjustable temperature control range from +2 to +10ºC. It features an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to minimize door openings and protect stored contents. The buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, simulates stored product temperature, complemented by an additional air temperature sensor. The temperature display shows current and min/max values in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Alarms for temperature out of range, power failure, door open, and sensor failure are included. The unit has remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port for additional monitoring devices. A hospital-grade cord with a green dot plug adds safety in high traffic areas.

Inside, the ARG12MLDR features adjustable cycle defrost to avoid temperature spikes. Optimized forced air cooling with two internal fans ensures stability and uniformity with rapid recovery after door openings. It includes six white powder-coated aluminum drawers on ball-bearing glides for full-extension access. Drawers are removable for transport and lock into place for security, with perforated bottoms for ventilation. LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch illuminates the interior, which is made from durable white powder-coated metal for better temperature retention.

The ARG12MLDR has a white cabinet finish with a blue-accented control panel. It includes a factory-installed antimicrobial handle coated with silver ions to reduce germ spread. The user-reversible double-pane tempered glass door provides a full view of the interior. The unit includes a factory-installed lock with two keys and powerful magnetic gaskets for a secure seal.

Designed with hydrocarbon refrigerant, the ARG12MLDR offers an energy-efficient solution for laboratory and life science storage. It is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems. Additional sizes, door options, and configurations with standard shelving and drawers are available. 

Accucold refrigerators are designed to support current CDC guidelines for vaccine storage but have not been evaluated to the new NSF 456 standard. They feature microprocessor controls and forced air circulation for stable operation. For additional temperature assurance, the CDC recommends a calibrated digital data logger (DDL), available with the factory-installed option DL2B or as an accessory with the DL2BKit.
