Four interior outlets, NEMA 5-15 (115V, 60Hz) configuration with GFI protection. Fused at 4A. Humidity levels cannot exceed 90% RH with installation of this accessory. For use in refrigerated (7000 & 7001) 50/75ft3 incubators at 230V, 60Hz.

Features

An optional interior electrical outlet(s) is available to supply power to small interior appliances such as shakers or stirrers. It is not intended to power high current draw devices. Chambers with 1 outlet will hold 4.0 amps. Chambers with 4 outlets will hold 2.0 amps. All outlets are resettable GFI protected.

 

This unit is equipped with an internal hydrocarbon (HC) sensor. The status of the HC sensor is indicated by the green/yellow/red indicator lights near the outlets.

  • Green: Sensor working and safe HC level, Energized*
  • Yellow: Sensor is initializing, Not energized
  • Red: Risky HC level detected, Not energized

 

*If outlet is not energized, either the GFCI or fuse may have tripped.

 

R290 Refrigerant Units

  • No equipment that uses an open flame should be placed inside the refrigerator.
  • Do not use instrumentation or equipment that incorporates potential ignition sources, e.g. open contact switching, brushed DC and AC motors, etc.

 

Note: If outlet is not energized, either the GFCI or fuse may have tripped.

 

The internal outlet will turn off with either a high temperature or high humidity alarm. These alarm setpoints and delays are adjustable, see alarms section for details.

 

Outlets on the 7000-50/75 Series cabinets are located behind the door under the HMI. The HC Sensor Status Indicator is visible at the top of the shelf track support.
