ASTM Scale Calibration Weight Sets
ASTM Class 5 and 6 sets offer high accuracy with tight tolerances and uncertainties of less than 1/4 of the tolerance. Weight surfaces meet or exceed ASTM tolerance and design restrictions. Scale calibration weight sets are manufactured from durable stainless steel and are provided in a rugged protective case to ensure weights are held securely, kept clean, and dust free. Available with certificate options traceable to NIST, including ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certification or traceable certification to aid in meeting SOP and regulatory requirements.
Applications
Used to test commercial weighing devices by weights & measures officials and service technicians. Class 5-7 weights may be used to test Class III, Class IIIL or IIII scales and other low precision scales not marked with a class designation.
Construction
Weights 10 lb through 8 oz - two-piece Weights 4 oz through 0.05 oz - one-piece construction.
Design Features
Stainless steel test weights ≥1g, ≥0.01lb, and all ounce are cylindrical. Weights ≤500mg are aluminum and flat with one end turned up for easy handling. Weights ≤0.005lb, are flat dish weights.
