The lower refrigerator compartment is designed to operate between 2 and 8°C. The digital thermostat is located inside. We include an alarm\/thermometer that users can easily install to monitor the refrigerator temperature. The thermometer displays the current and high\/low temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in a readout switchable from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle to help simulate the temperature of stored materials, rather than the refrigerator air temperature. An audible alarm warns if the unit has gone out of the recommended range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside the refrigerator section, the AGP34RFADA features fan-forced cooling for even temperature distribution, with adjustable wire shelves to help promote proper circulation. The refrigerator utilizes automatic defrost to reduce user maintenance, while the upper freezer compartment comes with a static manual defrost system. The freezer also includes door storage. It is best suited for storing ice packs and other items without strict temperature requirements. (NOTE: the freezer temperature is based off the refrigerator setting and cannot be adjusted independently.)
